The Cosmopolitans
The Cosmopolitans raise funds for national and local charities in the
Washington metropolitan area. We do this by hosting a series of
upscale, black tie optional cocktail/dinner dances and other events for
sophisticated, over 45, single professionals at unique locations.
All net revenues from Cosmopolitans events are donated to charities.
We are a tax exempt Virginia corporation under section 501(c)(3) of
the Internal Revenue Service code.
To date we have donated more than $142,000 to some 20 different
charities that include the American Cancer Society, Susan Komen
Breast Cancer Foundation, American Heart Association, Paul Hill
Chorale, Feline Foundation, Carlyle House Foundation, Leukemia
Society, Salvation Army, Help-a-Child Fund, American Diabetes
Society, Victims Assistance Legal Organization, Whitman Walker
Clinic, Covenant House, Circle of Hope, and Special Olympics. A
larger list of the charities that we have contributed to is shown on

We thank our many guests for attending our events and making these
contributions to charity possible.
